Were the 1990s really da bomb…fire…and other combustibles?💣🔥

According to our latest survey, the 1990’s were what they used to say in the day, “da bomb”.

And while Gen Z may not know what that means (think “fire” Gen Z), most in this generation say the decade or year they would most want to live in is the 1990’s. Shout out too goes to the early 2000s for Gen Z.

Same is true for Millennials with the 90s and early 2000s coming in strong as the decade/year they'd most want to live in.

Gen X lean strongly towards the 80s but have nostalgia for the 90s too!

Meanwhile, Boomers are spread out but do favor the 60s. In this open ended question, they are also more likely to mention a specific year.

About an equal number (1 in 10) choose the present or future.

What can we take from these results? Being is kid is the best! And while those days may be gone, there's no time like the present to be a kid at heart 🧡

This study is based on thinqinsights latest nationally representative Omnibus of 18+ in the US.
